About
MOSCARDINO STUDIO is a collective of young filmmakers who shoot: short films, commercials, music videos, and documentaries.
Founded in the summer of 2024 in Puglia, from an idea by Marco Antonio Lanera (Director, screenwriter, and producer) and Alessandro Derobertis (Cinematographer, director, and screenwriter), the collective brings together talents, spreading like inkblots (as the moscardino octopus does).

MOSCARDINO is made up of young people aged 18 to 30—film and acting students and/or young on-set workers—united by the ambition to work in the film industry and to build, through exploration, an artistic identity and an auteur view. They aim to turn their passions into their profession, covering every role from makeup artist to set designer, camera operator to director of photography, electrician to director.

In the South of Italy, and in Puglia in particular, the scarcity of opportunities to break in and gain experience in filmmaking prevents young people from acquiring the skills they need and from experimenting with their own resources.
This is what MOSCARDINO STUDIO sets out to do: encourage the production of audiovisual work by offering on-set experience to young people eager to learn the know-how of every craft in the industry. An opportunity created by youth, for youth.

We give a voice to young authors and crew members of all kinds and support the production of:
- Short films, narrative and documentary genres;
- Commercials for businesses and events;
- Social content for businesses and events;
- Music videos;

All with a strong focus on product quality and an innovative artistic and professional approach, with the goal of putting the skills of each individual crew member into practice, enriching their background.
