This notice is drawn up pursuant to Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy) and the \u00abGuidelines on cookies and other tracking tools\u00bb adopted by the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali on 10 June 2021. It supplements the Privacy Notice, to which reference is made for everything not expressly indicated below.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the sites visited send to the user\u2019s device, where they are stored in order to be transmitted back to the same sites on the subsequent visit. Alongside cookies there are other tracking tools with similar functions, such as the browser\u2019s local storage, which makes it possible to keep information on the device without sending it automatically to the server.
Depending on who installs them they are distinguished into first-party cookies, managed directly by this site, and third-party cookies, managed by external parties. Depending on the purpose they are distinguished into strictly necessary cookies, required for the service to work, and profiling or analytics cookies, which require the user\u2019s prior consent.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
They are essential in order to provide the service requested by the user and to remember their choices. Pursuant to Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 they do not require consent and cannot be disabled: without them the site cannot function correctly. This site uses only one.

The data are saved exclusively in the user\u2019s browser, are not transmitted to any server and do not make it possible to identify the person. They contain only the state of each category, the date of the choice and the version of the notice.
3. Analytics cookies
At present this site does not install any analytics or statistical cookie and does not use third-party traffic-measurement tools.
The \u00abAnalytics cookies\u00bb category nonetheless remains available in the preferences panel and by default is switched off. Should an analytics tool be introduced in the future, it will be activated only after the user\u2019s express consent and this section will be updated with the provider\u2019s name, the purpose, the duration of the cookies and the arrangements for transferring the data.
4. Third-party cookies \u2014 multimedia content
The videos published in the portfolio are hosted on YouTube, a service provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The embeds use the enhanced-privacy domain youtube-nocookie.com, which limits the cookies installed before playback.
The player is not loaded until you give consent to the \u00abThird-party media cookies\u00bb category. In the absence of consent, a static preview is shown in place of the video and no request is sent to Google\u2019s servers.
Once consent has been given and playback started, Google may install cookies and similar tools to remember viewing preferences, measure bandwidth and collect aggregated playback statistics. These are third-party cookies, with variable durations typically ranging from the single browsing session to 24 months, over which the controller of this site has no direct control.
For the purposes of processing, the categories of data collected and your rights vis-\u00e0-vis Google, reference is made to the provider\u2019s notice: https://policies.google.com/privacy. As indicated in the Privacy Notice, such processing may involve a transfer of data outside the European Economic Area, supported by the safeguards provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR.
5. How to manage preferences
You may change or withdraw the choices you have made at any time, with the same ease with which you expressed them, by opening the preferences panel from this page or from the \u00abCookie preferences\u00bb link in the footer of every page of the site. Withdrawal takes effect immediately: unauthorised third-party content is no longer loaded.
Alternatively you can manage cookies directly from your browser settings, blocking them or deleting those already stored. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair the functioning of the site. Instructions are available in the guides of the main browsers:
6. Duration of consent
In accordance with the Garante\u2019s guidance, the choice expressed is stored for 182 days, equal to about 6 months. After that period the banner is shown again and you will be asked to renew or change your preferences. The banner also reappears when this notice is updated in a substantial way or when you delete your browser data.
Closing the banner via the \u00abX\u00bb button is equivalent to refusing every non-essential category: merely scrolling the page or continuing to browse is never interpreted as consent.
