INTERMEZZO

In a theater, during Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, the two lead actors (secretly lovers in real life) get into a bitter argument filled with recriminations, sarcastic remarks, and mutual accusations, because “Romeo” has noticed “Juliet’s” boyfriend sitting in the front row. Thus, between costume changes and act breaks, the protagonists will unleash their grudges, jealousies, and dissatisfactions: even modern relationships can be a Tragedy.
